The All Progressives Congress (APC) on Monday released a revised timetable for its primary elections. APC national publicity secretary, Barr. Felix Morka, said the timetable was approved by the National Working Committee of the party. Chronicle NG reports that a date for the screening of presidential aspirants was not included in the revised timetable. According to a party source that spoke to Chronicle NG, the party NWC is awaiting the decision of President Muhammadu Buhari before proceeding with the screening of presidential aspirants. The Benin Zonal Command of the EFCC on Monday arraigned one Raphael Otobo on a three count charge of intent to defraud before Justice (Professor) C. A. Obiozor of the Federal High Court sitting in Benin City, Edo State. The National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), says Nigeria’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) grew by 3.11 per cent in the first quarter of 2022. This is according to the NBS Nigerian Gross Domestic Product Report Q1 2022 released in Abuja on Monday. According to the report, Nigeria’s GDP grew by 3.11 per cent year-on-year in real terms in the first quarter of 2022.
