The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has announced a daily cash withdrawal limit of N100,000 on individual accounts and N500,000 on corporate accounts as it continues to tighten measures around the naira. In a circular to all Deposit Money Banks (DMBS) and other financial institutions (Payment Service Banks (PSBs), Primary Mortgage Banks (PMBs) and Microfinance Banks (MFBs), the apex bank noted that cash withdrawals above the limits will attract 5 and 10 per cent respectively.
