INEC office destroyed in South Idemili, Anambra state

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) says that 729 ballot boxes were burnt in an attack on its office in Idemili South in Anambra state. Other items that were destroyed at the INEC office include 243 voting cubicles, 256 election bags, 11 megaphones, etc in the inferno. The Court of Appeal, Abuja has set aside the judgment of a lower court barring the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, from initiating either civil or criminal proceedings against a former Accountant General of the Federation, AGF, Jonah Oguniyi Otunla.
