Eleven persons lost their lives on Saturday in an auto crash at Kwanar Gujungu town in the Taura Local Government Area of Jigawa. The Jigawa State Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Lawan Shiisu, made the disclosure in a statement in Dutse on Sunday. Former Minister of Petroleum, Diezani Alison-Madueke, has denied granting an interview in London in which she begged President Bola Tinubu to grant her amnesty so that she can return to Nigeria. The United Kingdom’s (UK) gross domestic product (GDP) unexpectedly shrank in the third quarter, official data showed Friday, raising fears of a potential recession before an election due next year.
