Justices Mohammed Abubakar and Ibrahim Watilat, of the Federal High Court, Abeokuta, Ogun State, on Tuesday convicted and sentenced four internet fraudsters, on a different one count charges, bordering on impersonation, aiding and abetting of frauds. The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Ibadan Zonal Office, separately arraigned the convicts on separate counts. Senate President Ahmad Lawan on Tuesday charged the Inspector-General of Police to provide timelines for the implementation of the Community Policing in the country. Nigeria secured a $2.6bn (£2.2bn) loan from the China Export and Credit Insurance Corporation, also known as Sinosure, and the Bank of China to finance the project. A member of the Warri Council of Chiefs, Johnson Atseleghe, has been arrested by the Edo Police Command over alleged abduction and murder of one Sunny Etchie, a youth leader of oil-rich KoloKolo community in the state. In a fact check recently published by a Nigerian website it was shown that DStv tariffs in Nigeria is the cheapest in Africa.
