Barcelona have agreed to let striker Luis Suarez join La Liga rivals Atletico Madrid. Suarez is not wanted at Barca and the Catalans were happy to release him for free, providing he did not join certain other top clubs. The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 176 confirmed new coronavirus cases in the country on Tuesday. The 176 cases announced by the Centre for Disease Control takes the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases to 57,613. The NCDC also announced the discharge of 162 patients from isolation centers across the country with no new deaths reported. The US coronavirus death toll has passed 200,000, according to data from Johns Hopkins University (JHU). More than 6.8 million people are known to have been infected in the US, more than in any other country. The milestone comes amid an increase in cases in a number of states, including North Dakota and Utah. President Donald Trump said on Tuesday the new death toll was a “horrible thing” and claimed China “should have stopped” the virus. The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has commenced investigation of one Felix Osilama Okpoh, an alleged fraudster on the watch list of the Federal Bureau of Investigations, FBI, for his involvement in a $6m internet fraud. Okpoh, alongside Richard Izuchukwu Uzuh, Alex Afolabi Ogunshakin, Abiola Ayorinde Kayode and Nnamdi Orson Benson, had been declared wanted by the FBI sometime in 2019 for their alleged involvement in a Business Email Compromise, BEC, scheme that defrauded over 70 businesses in the United States, of over $6,000,000 USD.
