Governor Kayode Fayemi and Senator Babafemi Ojudu were allies in the past APC

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ekiti state has suspended Senator Babafemi Ojudu and 10 others indefinitely for flouting directive of the party’s national executive. This is contained in a statement by Mr Ade Ajayi, the party’s State Publicity Secretary, made available to newsmen in Ado-Ekiti on Thursday. Those suspended alongside Ojudu are Ayo Ajibade, Oyetunde Ojo, Femi Adeleye, Chief Akin Akomolafe and Bunmi Ogunleye. Others include Bamigboye Adegoroye, Dr Wole Oluyede, Mr Olusoga Owoeye, Mr Dele Afolabi and Toyin Oluwasola. Justice Ladiran Akintola of the Oyo State High Court, Ibadan, on Thursday, September 24, 2020, committed four fraudsters to prison for obtaining money under false pretence. A gas tanker exploded on Thursday in the Ifako-Ijaiye area of Lagos state with many persons sustaining burn injuries, the state emergency service has confirmed.
