Heavy rainfall has disrupted the ongoing election process in Ijebu area of Owo Local Government of Ondo State, the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports. NAN reports that the rain destroyed some election materials with the voting booths in some polling thoroughly soaked, while staff of INEC took refuge and struggled to secure the materials. England and Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford has become an MBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours list. The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 151 confirmed new coronavirus cases in the country on Friday. A previously unknown work by Ben Enwonwu, Nigeria’s most celebrated 20th Century visual artist, is up for auction in an online sale organised by Sotheby’s.
