The Nigeria Customs Service, Area ll Command, Onne Port, Rivers State, has announced that it raked in a total of N13,106,025,050.24 as revenue for last month. The amount, which is the highest monthly revenue generated in the Onne Area II Command since its creation over 37 years ago, is also the first revenue to be generated under the Command’s new controller, Comptroller Auwal Mohammed, who resumed duty on the September, 1, 2020. The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo has raised the alarm over alleged plots by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the Zenith Labour Party (ZLP) to rig Saturday’s governorship election. The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 103 confirmed new coronavirus cases in the country on Thursday. The 103 cases announced by the Centre for Disease Control takes the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases to 59,841. FBI busted an attempt to kidnap Michigan governor Gretchen Whitmer

The FBI says it has foiled a militia plot to abduct and violently overthrow Michigan’s Democratic Governor Gretchen Whitmer. Mrs Whitmer has become a target of coronavirus sceptics after enacting strict mitigation measures that were overturned by a judge last week.
