The Lagos State Ministry of Justice said on Tuesday that its Directorate of Public Prosecution (DPP) had established a prima facie case of child sexual offences against actor Olanrewaju James, also known as Baba Ijesha. Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Moyosore Onigbanjo (SAN) said following the DPP’s advice, Baba Ijesha will face a five-count charge bordering on the offences. Parents and members of Student Union Government on Tuesday marched to the National Assembly in demand for the release of the abducted Greenfield University students. On April 20, 2021 twenty-two students were abducted from the university campus, when gunmen invaded the school premises. The Federal Government has approved June 30 as the new deadline for the National Identity Numbers (NIN) linkage with the Subscribers Identity Module (SIM) cards. The government also said so far 54 million Nigerians have obtained their NIN, translating to over 190 million mobile numbers.
