Gunmen suspected to be herdsmen have killed 12 people in an attack on Kuru community in Jos South Local Government Area of Plateau State. According to witness, five other locals were injured during the incident They narrated that the assailants stormed the community at about 9pm on Sunday and began to fire sporadic gunshots. Senator Chris Ngige, the Minister of Labour and Employment, has dismissed claims that the Federal Government is marginalizing the Southeast. Ngige insisted that the Southeast has equal representation at the Federal Executive Council, FEC, like other regions of the country.
