Kaduna State Executive Council has approved the outcome of the primary four teachers’ competency test and directed immediate process for recruiting 25,000 teachers to replace those who failed the examination. The suspected gunman believed to have killed at least 26 people at a Texas church has been named as Devin Patrick Kelley, a former member of the US air force who received a court martial for assault on his wife and child five years ago. A gunman opened fire at a church in Texas during Sunday services, resulting in multiple reported casualties. The attack happened at the First Baptist Church in Sutherland Springs in Wilson County. Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross has an interest in Navigator Holdings, which earns millions a year transporting oil and gas for Russian energy firm Sibur.
