Gov. Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State has signed the N216.55 billion, 2018 budget passed by the State House of Assembly into law. The budget is made up of N131.1 billion capital expenditure and N85.44 billion recurrent expenditure. The man who faces terror charges over Monday’s bus terminal bombing in New York posted a warning to President Donald trump just before the attack. “Trump you failed to protect your nation,” it read. Four people were killed in a blast at a camp for people displaced by the Boko Haram conflict in northeast Nigeria, Doctors Without Borders (MSF) said on Tuesday. A Nigerian military source confirmed the incident and put the death toll at five. The Appeal Court sitting in Abuja has upturned Senate President Bukola Saraki’s acquittal by the Code of Conduct Tribunal. The ruling was delivered today, a day after a similar court in Lagos ruled that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has no legal right to try judges. The Nigerian Law School on Tuesday said 29 out of the 4,294 candidates called to the Nigerian Bar bagged First Class after the August 2017 bar examinations.
