Former Barcelona midfielder Xavi has returned to the Spanish club as manager with a contract until 2024. The Spaniard, 41, has been manager at Qatari club Al Sadd since 2019, but they agreed on Friday to let him join Barca after his release clause was met. The legal representatives of Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, SAN have warned against the dissemination of falsehood by media houses and individuals alike; in respect to the 21-storey building that collapsed on Monday in Ikoyi, Lagos State. Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, SAN is set to attend the 2nd edition of the Nigeria-Cote d’Ivoire Bi-National Commission meeting in Abidjan today. The Commission, which was established in 2013, is a reflection of the fraternal and cordial relations that exist between both countries regarded as the biggest economies in West Africa. Greta Thunberg has told a mass rally in Glasgow that the COP26 climate summit has been a “failure”. The Swedish activist had earlier joined thousands of young people – including striking school pupils – for a march through the city. She addressed the crowd when it arrived in George Square, saying “immediate and drastic” cuts to emissions are needed. The march was organised by Fridays for Future Scotland, a group founded by youngsters inspired by Ms Thunberg. Justice Peter Odo Lifu of a Lagos Federal High Court, today, restrained members of Ogun State House of Assembly from deploying the report to initiate any criminal complaint against against Mr. Babajide Odusolu, a former Managing Director of the Ogun Property Investment Corporation (OPIC).
