At least 14 persons have been arrested in connection with the invasion on the home Justice Mary Odili in Abuja, the Nigeria Police Force announced on Thursday. The suspects include a fake Chief Superintendent of Police, Lawrence Ajodo; an unnamed journalist with a national newspaper and an Islamic scholar. Folarin Hospital has dragged United Capital Trustees Limited, UCTL, before a Lagos High Court for allegedly demolishing its property. The US Justice Department (DoJ) is suing ride-hailing app Uber over allegations it has been overcharging disabled people. The DoJ claims Uber’s “wait time” fees are discriminating against disabled passengers who need more than two minutes to get into a car. It says Uber needs to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). But Uber said wait time fees were not intended to apply to disabled riders and that it had been refunding fees. The head electrician on the film set where Alec Baldwin accidentally shot dead cinematographer Halyna Hutchins last month is suing the actor and other crew members over the incident. Serge Svetnoy, a friend of Hutchins, is alleging negligence that resulted in “severe emotional distress”. He says the bullet narrowly missed him. A US boy born at 21 weeks and a day weighing under a pound has been certified as the world’s most premature baby to survive. Four persons have been killed after an attack by a group of unidentified gunmen in in Isiala Mbano Local Government Area of Imo on Tuesday night.
