Nigerian Army has confirmed that three soldiers were killed and eight injured when troops encountered Boko Haram terrorists on Monguno-Mairari-Gajiram axis in Borno State. Army spokesman, Col. Sagir Musa, said the Chief of Army Staff Lt.-Gen. Tukur Buratai and other top military officers have visited the area and commiserated with troops. Oil prices were lower on Monday after new tariffs imposed by the United States and China came into force, raising concerns about a further hit to global growth and demand for crude. Actor-comedian Kevin Hart and two others were involved in a car crash in Calabasas, California early Sunday, according to a California Highway Patrol incident report obtained by CNN. Hart and the driver, Jared Black, sustained “major back injuries” and were transported to nearby hospitals for treatment, the report states. Black was driving Hart’s 1970 Plymouth Barracuda, according to the report, when he lost control of the vehicle. It went off the road and rolled down an embankment.
