Shiites muslims group, IMN held Ashura procession despite police warnings

The Inspector General of Police (IGP) Mr Mohammed Adamu says all activities of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN) remained proscribed in line with the Terrorism (Prevention) Proscription Order Notice of July 26. The BEDC has confirmed that one of its technical staff members sustained injuries following an electrical incident in Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State.

Mr Ifeoluwa Oyedele, Executive Director, Niger Delta Power Holding Company (NDPHC), on Monday said communities in Ondo South Senatorial District would soon be connected to the national grid. Vice President Yemi Osinbajo will visit Adamawa on  Tuesday Sept. 10 to inaugurate the National Livestock Transformation Plan (NLTP). The plan which is to run from 2019-2028, is an initiative of the Federal Government in collaboration with States under the auspices of the National Economic Council (NEC).
