The Commissioner of Police of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Babaji Sunday has ordered full enforcement of the prohibition of all kinds of car racing in the territory. A petroleum pipeline explosion minutes before midnight on Thursday at Baruwa, Ipaja area of Lagos state has led to a fire outbreak. Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich has received an apology from publisher HarperCollins over defamatory allegations in a book titled Putin’s People. HarperCollins published a book which included the claim that Abramovich bought London football club Chelsea on the orders of Russia’s President Vladimir Putin.
