President Muhammadu Buhari has commissioned 628 cadets to Officers of the Nigerian Police that graduated from the Police Academy Wudil, in Kano State. The Department of Petroleum Resources in Cross River has assured residents in the state and beyond that there was enough product to serve for the Christmas season and beyond. DPR Operations Controller in the state, Mr Sircham Mohammed-Musa, gave the assurance on Thursday in Calabar during surveillance to some filling stations to ensure compliance with DPR guidelines. President Muhammadu Buhari has approved that the Board of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) be recomposed and inaugurated after the forensic audit of the organization. The President has also directed that the Interim Management Team of the NDDC shall be in place till the forensic is completed, and that the supervision of the Commission shall remain under the Ministry of Niger Delta Affairs. President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of Mr Sarki Auwalu as substantive Director, Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR) for an initial term of four years.
