Nigeria’s national security adviser, Babagana Monguno, has accused President Muhammadu Buhari’s Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari, of undue and dangerous interference on national security matters. Consequently, Mr Monguno has fired a warning memo to all service chiefs to desist from taking further directives from Mr Kyari, according to documents seen by PREMIUM TIMES. Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State on Monday presented 24 jeeps to High Court judges, as part  of efforts to enhance the welfare of judicial officers in the state. The governor, said while presenting the vehicles to the judges in Kaduna that more vehicles would be provided to other judges. The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has destroyed an Islamic State of West Africa Province (ISWAP) training camp at Kirta Wulgo on the fringes of the Lake Chad in Northern Borno. Air Commodore Ibikunle Daramola, NAF’s Director of Public Relations and Information, made this known in a statement on Monday in Abuja. Justice Agatha Anulika Okeke of the Federal High Court, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, on Friday, February 14, 2020 convicted and sentenced one Nwalozie Onyebuchi Julius, alias Dr. Godwin Emefiele, the governor of Central Bank of Nigeria to three years imprisonment without an option of fine. The convict was arraigned by the Uyo Zonal Office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on a one-count charge, bordering on impersonation and obtaining by false pretence to the tune of N4.5million.
