Global oil pricing shake up is expected as US shale hits Asia market

The Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR) has officially handed over the Oil Mining Licence (OML) 98 to the Nigerian Petroleum Development Company, a subsidiary of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC). Speaking at the hand-over in Abuja, Mr Sarki Auwalu, DRP Director and Chief Executive Officer, said that the licence was revoked from its operators Pan Ocean oil corporation over non remittance of royalties. China has announced a drop in new cases from the coronavirus outbreak for a third consecutive day. On Sunday, authorities reported 2,009 new cases and 142 more deaths nationwide. New cases spiked earlier in the week after a change in the way they were counted but have been falling ever since. Gunmen attacked Katsina villages killing at least 30 persons

Gunmen on motorbikes killed at least 30 people in attacks on two villages in the northwestern Nigerian state of Katsina, police confirmed on Saturday.
