Anthony Gordon netted his first competitive goal for Barcelona as they matched their best-ever start to a La Liga campaign with an easy win over Getafe.
The 25-year-old England international, who joined from Newcastle in May, put Barcelona ahead at Camp Nou after just 78 seconds with a deflected strike from 18 yards.
He was involved in Barcelona’s second goal too, as his pressing forced a mistake from Getafe defender Zaid Romero, which let Gabriel Jesus pounce on the ball, cut inside, and fire a low shot into the corner.
Hansi Flick’s team grabbed a third after the break when Lamine Yamal whipped a teasing cross into the box and Jules Kounde prodded the ball over the line.
Barcelona’s win was their eighth in a row in La Liga this season, equalling the start they enjoyed under Gerardo Martino in 2013-14.
The Blaugrana’s triumph lifted them to 24 points, five clear of second-placed Atletico Madrid, with both sides having played the same number of games.
Real Madrid, who beat Villarreal 1-0 later on Saturday despite ending the match with 10 men, sit third on 18 points.

Gary Lineker scored his first Barcelona goal in a 2-0 win over Racing Santander on his La Liga debut in 1986.
Welshman Mark Hughes’ first strike for Barca came in a league victory by the same scoreline against Cadiz in his third appearance later that year.
More recently, Marcus Rashford got his first goal for the Catalan club on his fourth outing, in a 2-1 win over Newcastle in last season’s Champions League group stage.
Gordon has had to wait a bit longer than those other British exports to Barcelona. This was his seventh appearance but he will still relish his first goal in the club’s famous colors, following some impressive displays for England in the Nations League.
A long passing sequence ended with a strike full of Gordon’s twinkle-toed magic.
The Liverpool-born winger played an accidental one-two off Getafe captain Djene Dakonam before weaving his way to the edge of the box.
Indeed, Gordon’s low shot took a deflection off Mario Martin, leaving Getafe goalkeeper David Soria wrong-footed in a scene of distorted perspective worthy of Picasso.
Yet, judging by the former Everton and Newcastle player’s celebration, he could not have cared less.
Gordon was swarmed by his teammates as he let out a guttural roar, thumped the Barca badge on his chest, and finished with his archer impression.
A goal to go with four assists shows how Gordon can leave even the most ruthless defenses helpless.
