An aggrieved Nigerian soldier opened fire on his colleagues at Army Super Camp 15 in Malam Fatori, Borno state, killing four colleagues and injuring another two. Justice Sikiru Oyinloye of Kwara State High Court, Ilorin, dismissed the application against the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), by former General Manager, Kwara State Television Authority, Alhaji Abdulfatai Adewale Adebowale, seeking the court to compel the Commission to produce the reports of the sale of Kwara State government’s properties from 1999, till date. The Enugu Zonal office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has arraigned one Ikechukwu Prospect Onyeka, before Justice Onuoha A.K. Ogwe, of the Abia State High Court, Umuahia, on a two count charge of impersonation and obtaining by false pretence. The Supreme Court has dismissed an application for review of the judgment which sacked the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Bayelsa state, David Lyon and his deputy, Senator Biobarakuma Degi-Eremienyo.
