Sanwo-Olu celebrates milestone in security

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the Incident Commander in Lagos state has announced the discharge of 42 coronavirus patients in the state. Providing update on the coronavirus pandemic, the governor said 42 more persons – 22 males and 20 females, all Nigerians have been discharged from isolation facilities on Friday, adding that, they have been allowed “to reunite with the society”. Lassa fever kills 214 in Nigeria as fatality rate hits 25% – NCDC

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced the single highest number of coronavirus cases in one day in the country. The 386 cases announced by the Centre for Disease Control on Friday takes the total number of confirmed cases to 3912. However there is more hope of recoveries as 78 patients were discharged and 10 deaths reported.
