Arsenal’s Premier League title ambitions suffered another setback as they were held to a frustrating 0-0 draw by Nottingham Forest at the City Ground.

The result leaves the Gunners struggling to gain momentum, while Forest, despite their recent slump, managed to hold firm against the visitors.

Both teams entered the game searching for form, with Arsenal lacking a cutting edge in attack and Forest having won just one of their last five league outings.

The first half saw few clear-cut chances, though Arsenal’s Riccardo Calafiori came closest, displaying excellent footwork before striking the post.

After a quiet first period, the visitors intensified their efforts after the break. Mikel Merino’s powerful header forced a sharp save from Matz Sels, while Kieran Tierney came agonizingly close moments later. Despite their dominance in set-piece situations, the Gunners failed to find a breakthrough.

Forest eventually grew into the game, with Chris Wood testing David Raya and later being denied by a crucial William Saliba tackle. However, neither side could capitalize, and the match ended goalless—a result that does little for either team’s ambitions.

Forest remain in third place but now face pressure from the chasing pack, while Arsenal risk slipping further behind in the title race after a second consecutive match without victory.
