    Disengaged Ogun State Government workers have paid a courtesy visit to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state.

    The workers who were led by their President, Awolesi Samuel solicited the support of the party in ensuring that they are reinstated back to active service.

    He also called for them to be equal with their contemporaries who have served for eight years. “We were wrongfully sacked without benefits,” he told APC leaders at the meeting.

    He pled for unemployed members to be considered for employment by the government of Prince Dapo Abiodun who will be inaugurated on 29 May 2019.

    Responding to the group, APC State Secretary, Mr. Ayo Olubori said that it was responsibility of government to provide job for youths.

    He said this was part of APC manifesto to create jobs and that the party was dedicated to it, adding that, it will help secure the future of the nation.

    Ogun state APC Publicity Relations Officer, Mr. Tunde Oladunjoye said that human capital development of all youths was on the mind of the party.

    He then promised to present the compassionate issue as a matter of first priority when it is time to review employment in the government of Prince Dapo Abiodun.

    “For me, Ogun state APC is one of best chapter of the APC and it has the vision to create wealth, empower women, artisans,etc” he said.

    He said the party was also committed to developing rural and urban infrastructure as well as continuing existing projects.

    He added that executives of the party are dream chasers and fulfilling promises made during campaign is a priority.He said the new government was dedicated to transforming the state and the lives of its citizen.
