The programme, under the Federal Ministry of Education’s Technical and Vocational Education and Training initiative, is designed to equip participants with practical, job-ready skills while providing financial support during training.
According to details released in the official guide, successful applicants will receive free tuition, monthly stipends ranging from ₦22,500 to ₦45,000, and recognised certification upon completion. Participants will also gain access to business loans, startup grants, and hands-on industry experience.

Training spans multiple sectors including technical and engineering trades such as electrical installation, welding, plumbing and solar panel installation. ICT and digital skills like computer hardware repair, social media communication and creative media production are also offered.
Other areas include construction, automotive repairs, agriculture, and creative services such as fashion design, cosmetology and hospitality training.
How to apply
Interested candidates are required to visit the official TVET portal, create an account, complete the application form, and select a preferred training centre. Applications are to be submitted online, after which shortlisted candidates will be contacted via SMS or email.
