Twitter CEO, Jack Dorsey has joined many others donating to fund the #EndSARS protests in Nigeria, as citizens kick against police brutality.

In the last three days, Nigerians have taken to streets to call for the dissolution of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) and a reform of the Nigerian Police Force.

Celebrities and sports stars across the world has joined in the call for police reforms in Nigeria.

Endorsing a message seeking donations for, Dorsey wrote on his Twitter page, “Donate via Bitcoin to help #EndSARS,” he tweeted.

His tweet was in reaction to a plea by the Feminist Coalition. “How to donate: Bank transfers (Naira) 9951243245, Providus Bank Wallets. Africa-Wine and Whine Nigeria,” the tweet read.

“You can also donate to us using a BTC Pay Server; a free, secure, and censorship-resistant platform,” Feminist Coalition added.

The Federal Government of Nigeria has since scraped SARS and replaced it with a new tactical unit termed Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT).

The protesters have however rejected the new tactical unit, stressing that, it is no different from the defunct SARS.

This is not the first mention of #EndSARS by Jack Dorsey. In the last hour, he has posted a link from Washington Post, highlighting the protest behind #EndSARS.
