Tottenham Hotspur have agreed a deal worth £75m with Manchester City for Brazilian winger Savinho, with a further £10m available in potential add-ons.
The 22-year-old will undergo a medical before completing a long-term move to north London, ending a transfer pursuit that has stretched back more than a year.
Tottenham failed with an approach for Savinho last summer, but the winger opted to remain at the Etihad Stadium. However, his opportunities were limited under Pep Guardiola last season, with the Brazil international making just seven Premier League starts.
Savinho’s arrival is part of a major attacking rebuild under Tottenham head coach Roberto de Zerbi. Spurs have already spent £185m on midfielders Mateus Fernandes from West Ham and Sandro Tonali from Newcastle.
Tottenham are not expected to stop there, with talks over a possible move for City’s Omar Marmoush also progressing positively.
Marmoush, who joined City from Eintracht Frankfurt for £59m in 2025, fell down the pecking order last season and could now be reunited with his former club-mate in north London.
Spurs also retain an interest in Liverpool forward Cody Gakpo, although it remains unclear whether they can finance a deal for the Netherlands international alongside moves for Savinho and Marmoush.
Savinho’s transfer will take Tottenham’s spending this summer beyond £300m. They have, however, recouped around £140m through the sales of Cristian Romero, Djed Spence and Luka Vuskovic.
Tottenham begin their Premier League campaign away to Brentford on Saturday at 17:30 BST, while Manchester City host Bournemouth on Sunday at 14:00 BST.
