President Bola Tinubu has been described as a president who has unleashed untold suffering and hardship on the poor and downtrodden in Nigeria.

In a series of statements on X on Friday, an aggrieved social media influencer popularly called Sarki described the Nigerian leader as ”a president who is more against the poor.”

Mentioning that the Nigerian leader is ”more determined to make them suffer,” Sarki lamented the difficulties faced by the poor in the country.

His comments come amid the astronomical increase in the pump price of petrol, which has resulted in the hike in transport fares and the cost of goods and services in the country.

The pump price of petrol was increased on Tuesday to N855, N918, and higher per litre, with the prices varying across locations at NNPC stations in the country.

A development that has resulted in trekking, using of horses, and bicycles by Nigerians as an alternative means of transportation.

Reacting to the situation in the country, Sarki stated, ”I have lived through six Nigerian presidents, and I have never seen a president who is more against the poor and more determined to make them suffer than President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.”

The former staunch supporter of the president, also lamented that ”the most difficult job anyone could offer you at this point is to defend this Tinubu-led administration.

”An administration lacking empathy and concern for its people, a government that has made people poorer and turned them into beggars.”

Describing the Tinubu-led administration as a ”disaster,” he mentioned that, ”the fastest way to be hated by the masses is to defend President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.

”They’ve been an absolute disaster since the very first day he was sworn into office, and defending him will only make you look foolish.”
