    Super Eagles captain William Troost-Ekong has hailed the Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) for its verdict over the forfeited Libya Vs Nigeria game of 15 October 2024 in Benghazi.

    Chronicle NG reports that CAF fined Libya Football Association $50,000 following investigation in the dismal treatment of the Nigerian football team.

    Following the verdict, the Super Eagles captain described the move as justice served.

    “JUSTICE: CAF awards three points and three goals to Nigeria. Libya fined $50,000,” Troost-Ekong said.
