Controversial rapper Speed Darlington has been released from police detention following his arrest for allegedly slandering Burna Boy.
Chronicle NG reported that fans had raised an alarm when the rapper wasn’t seen online for 3 days.
However, it was later gathered that he was arrested by the police, who were petitioned by Burna Boy for the slanderous statements he made.
Deji Adeyanju, a human rights activist and lawyer, took up the case and sought to get him released from custody.
According to recent sources, Speed Darlington has been released on bail.
