    Saraki honours 72 First Class Indigenes of Kwara State

    It was blissful moment on Sunday as the Senate President, Dr Olubukola Saraki hosted 72 indigenes of Kwara states who made first class from different universities. This gleeful event coincided with celebration of Saraki’s birthday, where he decided to share the moment with these scholars and honor them for their hardworking in the University.

    In his remarks, Senator Olubukola Saraki stated that he decided to host the scholars in other to encourage them. He also stressed that Human capital is the best resource in Nigeria.

    First Class kwara Indigenes dine with the Senate President

    In a bid to appreciate these scholars, Saraki also awarded them scholarship which avails them the opportunity to have their Masters Programme in any chosen Nigerian University of their choice.

    “To celebrate my birthday, I hosted 72 Kwara indigenes who made first class honours from different universities.

    “I decided to host these students to encourage and remind them that the best resource we have in Nigeria is not Oil, Gold or Tantalite but Human Capital, I assured them that I will continue to use my position to improve the human capital resource with any opportunity I find.” He stated

    He expressed his pleasure as some “friends decided to give automatic employment to some of the graduants, to start in January.”

    The Nigeria’s Third citizen also urged other politicians to also follow suit and encourage young champs in the country.

    “I encourage others that might want to celebrate me to consider extending helping hand especially to young entrepreneurs who focus on Made In Nigeria goods and services. Thank you.”
