The incident occurred on Wednesday in Kontagora Local Government Area, when two criminals entered a petrol station on a motorcycle without a mask. They originally pretended to be consumers and even bought fuel.

“The fuel attendant, 20-year-old Jibrin Inuwa of Garun Mallam, was rushed to a hospital where he was confirmed dead.”
A security source, who identified himself as Aliyu, told the press that the police responded to a distress call about the heist and pursued the criminals, shooting one of the suspects in the leg.

“Police patrol teams from ‘A’ Division, Kontagora, led by the Divisional Police Officer, trailed the suspects to the Dadinkowa area behind a vigilante office, where they engaged in an exchange of gunfire.
