    BREAKING: Peter Obi beats Tinubu to win Lagos polls

    Peter Obi, the Labour Party presidential candidate has won Lagos state presidential polls beating two-time former Lagos governor and presidential candidate of All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu.

    With results from Alimosho, Ojo and Mushin announced Monday morning, Peter Obi won with 40,771.

    Labour Party garnered a total of 582,454 while APC polled 572,606.

    In Alimosho and Ojo, where Labour Party won, they collected 71,327 and 38,858 respectively while APC managed 62, 909 and 20, 603.

    In Mushin, APC won with 41,907 while Labour Party garnered 23,330.

    • Peter Obi leads Tinubu in Lagos as counts continue

    Obi’s Labour Party won in nine local government areas while Tinubu’s APC won in 11 local government areas.

    Labour Party claimed wins in Eti-Osa, Amuwo Odofin, Ikeja, Ajeromi-Ifelodun, Kosofe, Oshodi-Isolo, Somolu, Alimosho and Ojo.

    Tinubu, however won in Agege, Apapa, Badagry, Epe, Ibeju-Lekki, Ifako-Ijaiye, Ikorodu, Lagos Island, Lagos Mainland, Surulere and Mushin.
