Pastor Jimmy Odukoya, the senior pastor of Fountain of Life Church in Lagos, has presented his new wife, Pastor Mo Odukoya, to his congregation.
The pastor shared the news during the Sunday service on November 1, 2026, at the church’s headquarters in Ilupeju, Lagos State.
Earlier on Saturday, he had posted a photo of two hands wearing wedding rings on his Instagram page, captioned “To New Beginnings.”
This sparked speculation among his followers about whether he had gotten engaged, and some had already begun sending congratulatory messages.
But everything became clear on Sunday when Odukoya introduced his wife as Pastor Mrs. Odukoya.
The couple then made their way to the stage, accompanied by cheers from the congregation.
Explaining the reason for his decision, the pastor said that since he took over leadership of the church, he had been single for some time before finding his new partner, drawing admonition from the Holy Bible.
In a short video clip shared on the church’s Facebook page on Sunday, the senior pastor said, “So, you know, ever since I became your pastor, I was doing this walk of life alone.
“You know, the Bible said it is not good; it said I will find somebody suitable. When Adam saw it, he said, ‘This is the flesh of my flesh, the bone of my bone, my left and right rib.’
“Ladies and gentlemen, allow me to introduce to you for the first time, Pastor Mrs. Odukoya.”
The couple knelt in front of Pastor Tunde Bakare, General Overseer of The Citadel Global Community Church, who could be seen offering his blessings to the union.
Jimmy tied the knot with his ex-wife, Oluwakemi Banjoko, in London in 2013. Together they had two children before their separation.
