Former Vice President of Nigeria, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, has showered his wife, Dolapo, with lovely words as she celebrates her 57th birthday.
Osinbajo took to his social media pages on Monday to wish his wife a lovely birthday.
Sharing photos Prof said, “Happy Birthday, my love #dolapoosinbajo. Your love, kindness, and generosity make all our lives so much happier. Love you always.
He continued, saying: “This year I decided to share my favourite photos of Dolly #dolapoosinbajo doing her favourite things.”
Reacting to the former Vice President’s post on Instagram, Nollywood actress Joke Silva wrote: “Happy birthday to the Jewel in the Crown. Have an incredible day.”
Ibukun Awosika, said “Happy birthday to a most beautiful person, both inside and outside. You are a true treasure and a worthy example of Christ in us. God bless you richly. Love you lots.”
Osinbajo and Dolapo, nee Soyode, married in 1989. Dolapo is also a lawyer and the granddaughter of Obafemi Awolowo, the revered political legend in Nigeria.
They have three children together.
Dolapo is a very religious woman. She is the leader of the Ladies Fellowship of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Jesus House Parish.
In 2007, she collaborated with her husband to establish “The Orderly Society Trust”, a non- governmental organisation that is dedicated to the promotion of Christian ethics and orderliness.
She had also shown a great concern about the street boys, who sleep under the bridge in Lagos.
She chronicled her experience with them in a book: ‘They Call Me Mama!’, which was launched in 2014.
