The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, and his wife, Mariam Ajibola, have welcomed twin princes into the Royal House of Oduduwa.
The monarch revealed this in a statement on his official Facebook page on Friday.
Ooni was overjoyed at the arrival of his princes and thanked God that both his wife and children are well.
“To God be all the glory and adoration for His wondrous works and abundant blessings once again!
“Warmest congratulations to the entire House of Oduduwa and to Olori Mariam Ajibola on the joyous arrival of twin princes to the royal throne of Oduduwa today.
“We give thanks to Almighty God as both mother and children are in good health,” the statement read.
Recall that after his failed marriage to Olori Naomi, the monarch moved on to marry six wives in three months.
The queens are Mariam Anako on September 6, 2022; Elizabeth Akinmudai; Tobiloba Philips on October 9, 2022; Ashley Adegoke on October 14, 2022; Ronke Ademiluyi on October 20, 2022; and Temitope Adesegun on Monday, October 24, 2022.
While commemorating his 48th birthday and seventh coronation anniversary, Ooni explained why he married Mariam Anako and others, stating that he attempted to make changes but was unable to do so due to Ile Ife’s traditional legacy.
