    Popular Nigerian Islamic singer Rukayat Gawat Oyefeso has reportedly died.

    She was well-known for her sonorous voice and devotional music, which appealed to many in the Muslim community.

    On Tuesday morning, popular Ilorin-based cleric Alfa Aribidesi At-Tawdeeh Islamic Da’awah announced her death via his official Facebook page.

    • Shina Sanyaolu, Nollywood filmmaker, is dead

    She’s famous for singing popular Islamic songs like Oba Nla, Morire, Igba Ti Wa, and Temitope, among others.

    At the time of filing this report, further details surrounding her death have yet to be fully disclosed.
