An original member of the iconic Jackson 5 and brother of the late Michael Jackson, Tito Jackson, has died at the age of 70.

Tito, known for timeless hits like ABC and I Want You Back, died on Monday, according to his sons, who confirmed the news in a poignant Instagram post.

The official cause of death of the music legend is yet to be revealed.

Tito was in the famed ensemble with his siblings Jackie, Jermaine, Marlon, and Michael, who died in 2009.

Steve Manning, a long-time Jackson family friend and former Jackson family manager, confirmed to Entertainment Tonight that Jackson died on Monday.

His three sons, Taj, Taryll, and TJ Jackson, who formed the R’n’B/pop combo 3T in the 1990s, confirmed the news in an Instagram post.

“We are shocked, saddened, and heartbroken,” they wrote. “Our father was an incredible man who cared about everyone and their well-being.”

They continued, “He will be missed tremendously. It will forever be ‘Tito Time” for us.

“Please remember to do what our father always preached, and that is ‘Love One Another’. We love you, Pops.”
