A man in his 20s was stabbed outside Naira Marley‘s afrobeats concert at London’s O2 Academy in Brixton on Sunday night.

Police officers and an ambulance rushed to Stockwell Road, Lambeth, at around 9.40pm to reports that a young man had been stabbed outside the venue where Naira Marley was playing.

The victim’s wound was not said to be life-threatening and the concert was allowed to go ahead.

However, many were left furious and confused outside the concert hall after they said staff had shut the doors and refused to let anyone else in.

Videos emerged of Capital Xtra DJ Tim Westwood walking around outside the O2.

‘Naira Marley got locked off, so Tim Westwood was chilling in main brikky (Brixton),’ one person tweeted.
