The yet-to-be-identified young lady was found lifeless and dumped in the Ombi 1 community near Mustapha Agwei II State Polytechnic, Lafia, Nasarawa state.
This event comes just a week after an acclaimed gospel singer in the state murdered and dismembered his girlfriend, Salome Adaidu in the Karu Local Government Area of Nasarawa State.
The Ombi 1 village, where the young lady’s lifeless body was discovered, is in a state of terror.
The neighbourhood, dominated by hoodlums disguised as State Polytechnic students in Ombi 1, has become a hideout.
Numerous clubs and drinking establishments in the neighbourhood, together with numerous social activities, have resulted in the tragic deaths of many young people.
Despite constant patrols by security personnel, hoodlums continue to commit crimes against innocent civilians.
Investigations indicated that the lady was brutally murdered in cold blood on Saturday night, with her body removed from a junction and thrown behind a compound, where it was discovered the next morning.
According to the Area Command, the police have launched an investigation into the case, as no one has come forward to identify the deceased.
The police have asked members of the public to help identify the deceased.
