James Faleke, lawmaker representing Ikeja Federal Constituency in the 10th House of Representatives, has dismissed news making the rounds that he has been appointed as the Managing Director of the Nigerian Ports Authority by President Bola Tinubu.
In a statement signed by Faleke on Friday, he described the rumour as “baseless and without merit.”
“I want to make it unequivocally clear that these rumours are baseless and without merit. There has been no such development in the works.” The statement partly reads:
“My focus and commitment remain on representing the esteemed citizens of Ikeja Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, a responsibility I am dedicated to upholding.
“Please disregard these unfounded rumours, and be assured that I will continue to serve the people diligently in my current role.” Faleke stated.
