The fight that everybody has been waiting for is drawing closer and Mike Tyson has had his say on which of British heavyweights, Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua, will be victorious.

Mike Tyson has indicated that Anthony Joshua ‘might be in trouble’ when he takes on Fury for the undisputed heavyweight championship of the world.

Tyson has been in attendance for a number of Fury fights.

And speaking to Haute Living, Tyson stated his belief that his namesake’s stunning performance against Deontay Wilder last year gives him an advantage over Joshua.

“Listen, you know I love f***ing Joshua.

“But I really think this Tyson’s too elusive, he’s not gonna hit him.

“Listen, keeping it honest, I like Joshua a lot. Maybe he punches harder than Wilder, but he doesn’t punch faster than Wilder.

“If he doesn’t punch faster than Wilder, he’s not gonna f***ing touch this guy.

“That’s just what I think, he punches hard, but he doesn’t punch fast.

“If Tyson Fury can get away from Wilder’s fast punches, Joshua might be in trouble.”

    • Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury sign two-fight deal

With English sports promoter, Eddie Hearn, claiming that both men have now signed contracts, it is hoped a venue and date for the much-anticipated bout can be confirmed within the next few weeks.
