Anambra, Bayelsa, Katsina, Kogi, Benue, Nasarawa, Kwara, Niger, Kebbi, Sokoto, Jigawa, Bauchi, Delta, Rivers, Adamawa, and Yobe are among these states.”

“This is in addition to the implementation of the stabilisation fund project in six local government areas in the North-East and North-West, which benefited 27, 432 people,” Gwarzo said.

He underlined the federal government’s commitment to provide the necessary assistance to the country’s most disadvantaged citizens.

According to him, Nigerians throughout the nation have lost their lives and livelihoods as a consequence of the 2020 flood calamity.

“The 2020 flood had a devastating socioeconomic impact.” It led in the loss of lives and livelihoods in communities throughout Nigeria’s six geopolitical zones.

“Hundreds of people have been displaced as a result of the ongoing conflict and frequent insurgent attacks,” he added.

As a result, he praised the numerous national and international NGOs, as well as other government agencies, for their assistance in giving assistance to Nigerians in times of need.

Speakers at the gathering took turns expressing their willingness to help the government’s efforts to meet the humanitarian needs of underprivileged Nigerians.
