Nigerian singer Innocent Idibia, popularly called 2baba, has announced the crash of his marriage with his heartthrob, Annie Macaulay-Idibia.
In a statement shared on his verified Instagram page on Sunday, 2Baba mentioned that he and Annie have been living separately for a while.
He also disclosed that he has filed for divorce in a bid to render null and void his marriage to the actress.
“Hello to my beautiful people of all federations,” he said.
“Well, this thing I want to say is short but also long. I and Annie Macauley have been separated for a while now and have currently filed for divorce.
“I would grant a press release soon to say my story not because it is anyone’s right to know about my personal life but because I love my people and I need them to know my innocence or offence.
“Stay blessed, my people. I love you all,” 2baba added.
The estranged couple has been married for 21 years and has birthed 4 children.
The African Queen crooner has fathered several children with multiple women prior to his marriage to the actress.
