Cristiano Ronaldo of Al-Nassr was sentenced to 99 lashes for hugging an unmarried woman while taking a photo with her in Iran.

It is forbidden in the Islamic country as a man is not allowed to touch a woman, and the Portuguese striker will receive the punishment if he travels to Iran again.

Cristiano Ronaldo will be in big danger if he visits Iran again. For adultery, the Portuguese striker was sentenced to 99 strokes.

In the Asian Champions League, Al-Nassr faced Persepolis, and Luis Castro’s squad headed to Iran for the encounter.

Ronaldo met a painter, Fatima Hamami, from Iran who is a huge follower of the Portuguese footballer.

Fatima Hamami presented him with numerous portraits she had created of him, and he thanked her by taking a selfie with her and hugging her. Because the painter is in a wheelchair, he bowed down, placed his right hand on her arm, and smiled for the camera.

According to the Iranian news outlet ‘Shark Emroz,’ after the video went viral on social media, numerous Iranian lawyers sued Ronaldo for adultery. In Iran, a man is not permitted to touch an unmarried lady.

According to the same news agency, a court sentenced him to 99 lashes the next time he steps foot on Iranian soil.
