Justice Emmanuel Iyanna, of the Chief District Court, Federal Capital Territory Abuja, has prohibited on-air personality mister Kayode Oladotun, better known as Do2dtun, from writing defamatory posts against singer Oladapo Oyebanjo, commonly known as D’banj, on social media or any other platform.

D’banj has filed an application in court for an injunction prohibiting Do2dtun from publishing harmful and defamatory posts about him on social media through one of his lawyers, Toheeb Lawal.

Iyanna granted “an order restraining the defendant (Do2dtun) from further making any malicious, intimidating, or defamatory post directing at the complainant (D’banj) on any social media platform or news media pending the hearing and determination of the substantive case” while granting the application, which has D’banj as the complainant and Do2dtun as the respondent.

In addition, the court ordered the Deputy Inspector of Police, Force Intelligence Bureau, to investigate D’banj’s criminal complaint against the OAP within two weeks and report back to the court.

Do2dtun had been on a social media rampage against D’banj for weeks. In 2013, the OAP married D’banj‘s sister, Taiwo, and the couple had two daughters.

However, in November 2021, Taiwo filed for divorce before Justice A.I Akobi of the Federal Capital Territory High Court, alleging Dotun’s “unending reckless emotional abuse, forced abortion, and vicious domestic violence,” which she claimed had harmed her health and general well-being.

Mister Do2dtun had also claimed that he was not permitted to see his daughter, but Taiwo denied the accusation by her ex-husband.

She stated that, contrary to her ex-husband’s claims about child custody, the entertainer had access to their children.
