A company has placed a job advert for a “dedicated and spiritually grounded” prayer warrior to serve as a corporate intercessor for an executive leadership team and their business ventures.

The ad was posted on Indeed, an employment website, by Betafans NG, a company registered on the website as working in the broadcast media industry.

According to the ad, the ideal candidate must be a Christian prayer warrior who will provide consistent prayer support, spiritual guidance, and prophetic covering to ensure divine alignment, peace, and progress across multiple business operations.

As part of the responsibilities, the candidate will lead daily and weekly intercessory prayers for the leadership team and all ongoing projects; develop and follow a structured prayer calendar focused on specific themes (e.g., growth, protection, wisdom, partnerships, expansion); and host virtual prayer meetings or vigils remotely via Zoom or similar platforms.

The candidate will also maintain a private prayer journal recording topics, scriptures, insights, and answered prayers; provide periodic spiritual updates or briefings on prayer focus areas; uphold confidentiality and spiritual discretion in all company-related matters, and offer spiritual support during special moments such as product launches, crises, or key business decisions.

Qualifications include a deep personal commitment to a consistent prayer life with a minimum of three daily prayer sessions, demonstrated experience as an intercessor or prayer coordinator, and strong moral integrity and humility.

A preferred background for the candidate would be rooted in prior experience praying for individuals, organisations, or ministries with verifiable testimonies; familiarity with business, leadership, or startup environments; and a background in intercession or ministry.

Spiritual mentorship was listed as preferred.

Monthly remuneration for the role was stated as between N400,000 and N500,000.
