    Bowen University VC commends Globacom on consistent digital services

    Bowen University VC commends Globacom on consistent digital services

    The Vice Chancellor of Bowen University, Iwo, Professor Jonathan Oyebamiji Babalola, has commended Globacom for its unwavering commitment to delivering top-tier digital services to the institution over the years.

    Speaking during a meeting with a delegation from Globacom’s Enterprise Business Group at his office, Professor Babalola expressed satisfaction with the quality of service provided by the telecommunications giant.

    He urged the company to maintain its seamless service delivery while expanding its corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives to further support the university.

    “We are delighted to do business with Globacom, a company that has consistently provided excellent digital services. We encourage Glo to extend its CSR projects to support our mission of producing well-rounded graduates and driving the progress of the institution,” Prof. Babalola remarked.

    In response, Adeniyi Odejobi, Enterprise Business Lead at Globacom, highlighted the company’s transformative role in Nigeria’s telecommunications sector.

    “Globacom is more than a telecommunications company; we are a digital solutions provider. For over two decades, we have pioneered revolutionary innovations, including constructing Glo 1, our wholly-owned international submarine cable,” he said.

    Adeniyi noted that Globacom’s innovations have significantly enhanced telephone penetration in Nigeria, making communication accessible to all Nigerians. “Thanks to Globacom, every Nigerian can now afford a telephone line,” he added.

    He encouraged Bowen University to deepen its partnership with the company by leveraging advanced digital solutions such as the Glo Learning Management System (LMS), Toll-Free Data, and Mobility Services to enhance the university’s digital transformation.

    “Globacom is committed to helping institutions like Bowen University achieve their digital goals and propel their academic and operational success to the next level,” Adeniyi stated.

    The meeting underscored the strategic partnership between Bowen University and Globacom in driving digital innovation and educational advancement in Nigeria.
